June 28: Java Road Trip – Code to Coast

Join the NovaJUG in welcoming the Java Bus Tour to DC on Monday June 28, 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in DC.

Oracle has stuffed a rock-star bus full of demos and are taking them on the road, stopping in 20 US cities over the next couple of months. There will be food, beer, and free stuff, provided thanks to Oracle. And they will also have engineers from HQ flying out to several of these stops to speak on various subjects.

The DC speaker will be Roger Brinkley. He’s the Mobile and Embedded Community Leader and does some really fun engaging/interactive demos – He’s a great speaker.

You can learn more at http://www.java.com/roadtrip – all photos, videos, blogs, maps will be available there. And for real-time updates, you can follow along on twitter: @java (hashtag: #javaroadtrip)

The hotel’s address:

2660 Woodley Road Northwest
Washington, DC 20008
(202) 328-2000

If you can’t make this stop, the tour continues to Charlottesville on July 2.
